All Dance NZ classes are held and taught by Belinda Goodwin, who has just obtained her brown belt in the Nia Technique. Belinda ensures to provide every class with a safe, non-judgmental environment, even over Zoom, as well as varying levels of difficulty to each movement and routine.
This allows every participant to feel comfortable and to complete the workout at the pace most comfortable to them. As mentioned earlier, you’ll be able to make new social connections through Dance NZ classes. Even over Zoom, Nia Dance allows you to maintain a high level of socialisation each week.

• Classic Nia physical lessons are practiced every Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. Classes take place at the Waikato Sports and Fishing Club. This location is on Grantham Street in the Hamilton area.
Zoom sessions, which can be arranged here, are also available.
• Gentle Nia physical lessons are conducted every Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. The location is Raglan Town Hall, with the building being located on 41 Bow Street in Raglan.

• Classic Nia classes are practiced at Saint John’s Hall. This class occurs every Friday at 9:30 a.m., with the building being located on 20 Wellington Street in Hamilton.

• Nia for Parkinson’s Freedom Dance is open every Friday at 12:00 pm. The physical location is also at Saint John’s Hall. Zoom sessions, which can be arranged here, are also available.
