Summer is coming and even though it’s still spring, the warmth and shine of the sun are already here in New Zealand. Taking advantage of this wonderful weather while it’s around can be done in a variety of ways. A fantastic way to make the most of the ever-warmer weather is through outdoor exercise and fitness. This blog will be talking about an outdoor dance in Raglan and Hamilton that’s available on the 9th of November.

Add Nia Dance to Your Bright and Sunny Day

Nia Dance is the perfect activity to add to your day outside in the sun. You can perform this non-impact and highly adaptable technique alone, with friends, or in a guided class! The ability to be so flexible and easy to learn allows you to organise a last-minute Nia workout in the sun or join Nia Dance classes with no previous dance or Nia Dance experience!

Part of what makes it so adaptable is the movement itself. Each movement is inspired by a martial, healing or dance art, such as Duncan dance, Jazz, Aikido or Yoga, and can provide benefits even when not performed like your instructors or peers. This is one of the many great things about Nia Dance, you can perform any of the 52 movements based on what feels right to your body and still reap the benefits and not be at risk of injury. In fact, Nia Dance adaptability significantly reduces the level of fatigue and sweat you might experience too.

The music of Nia Dance combined with being outdoors in the sun is a great combo that can provide a large variety of emotional benefits and boost happiness to your day. Through binaural frequencies and specific instruments, Nia Dance music can help you get in touch with your seven chakras, remove mental blockages, promote joy, and bring a sense of clarity and calmness to your energy.
