You can find happiness anywhere. There are many practices you can participate in that provides an abundance of happiness but sometimes you might find you don’t have the time, accessibility or physical abilities to take part in particular activities. Today’s blog will be discussing an online happiness dance in Hamilton that is perfect if you’re a homebody, a busy worker with a hectic schedule or feel most comfortable taking on new activities without anyone watching.

How Nia Dance Can Boost Your Happiness Through The Internet

Nia Dance is a dance style that is highly unique in the way that it is extremely effective both in-person and online. Made up of 52 actions inspired by nine martial, dance and healing arts, all movements were designed to be easily adaptable and non-impact. This allows for anybody with any level of abilities or Nia Dance/dance experience to be able to join in and reap the benefits.

Even when done from home, Nia Dance can provide you with several health and well-being benefits that will leave you feeling stronger mentally and physically, and happier. Some of these benefits can include connection to your spiritual side and chakras, physical improvements to muscles, back posture, mobility and flexibility, and boosts to mental and emotional health, such as productive or calmer energy, happier attitude, and relieving anxiety and depressive symptoms.

These physical, mental and spiritual health benefits alone can provide you with happiness; studies have shown that the healthier you feel, the happier majority of people feel! Dance is also one of the most popular activities shown to positively increase individual happiness, and other research has shown techniques like Yoga and Tai-Chi create large, positive impacts on happiness levels. This makes Nia Dance the perfect activity to boost your happiness, as movements are inspired by these techniques.

Nia Dance is also great to boost your happiness and health as a Nia workout can be as short as 7-minutes or as long as an hour class! Both workout lengths are beneficial and can give you a range of the health advantages listed and more!
