When it comes to doing the things you love, it’s almost always more enjoyable taking part outdoors. Now that summer is incoming and the weather is becoming warmer and brighter, it’s a great idea to take an activity to the outdoors to participate in! If you don’t have a pursuit you’re passionate about or want to find something new to enjoy, don’t worry. This blog will be discussing an outdoor dance in Hamilton that is perfect for absolutely anybody who wants to have some active fun in the sun.

Nia Dance Can Be Participated In Anywhere

The world of Nia Dance is expansive, and there’s a lot of things that make it such an amazing movement art. Nia Dance is considered to be more of a holistic approach to healing and benefits and takes the form of dance with every 52 movements to provide a fun type of fitness.

The way Nia Dance was designed makes it an extremely adaptable and non-impact form of exercise, making it easily accessible to anyone who wants to take part. Not only does its adaptability make it readily available for everyone but it also allows individuals to change the movements based on what feels right to their body, rather than forcing movements. Forcing movements is common in many other fitness types, and can often lead to increased injury, higher levels of exhaustion and can make you sweatier.

Adapting movements to your own needs and abilities ensures that you don’t hurt yourself during a Nia Dance routine, and allows you to focus on your body which provides higher levels of healing and benefits. The adaptability of Nia Dance also allows you the opportunity to always be able to receive the many benefits of this fitness form, no matter where you are or how long your Nia workout is. Whether you complete a 7-minute Nia Dance workout or an hour-long Nia Dance class, or if you’re participating at home or out in a park, you’ll feel the benefits of Nia Dance.

Dance NZ Providing Nia Dance Fun In The Sun

Whether you live in New Zealand or internationally, Dance NZ is the Nia Dance company for you! Not only are there options for viewing and participating in classes online or in-person, but your Nia teacher, Belinda Goodwin, goes above and beyond to ensure that your class environment is safe, positive and supportive and that you’re being guided efficiently and attentively. Belinda has achieved her white, blue, green and brown belt, making her a fully qualified Nia Dance teacher.

In-person classes are available at various venues based in the Hamilton and Raglan areas within Waikato, New Zealand. Physical classes help to provide more of a social connection and a new, positive space to take part in Nia Dance. HYBRID-style lessons (online classes) are based on Zoom and can be more accessible by allowing you to participate from the comfort of your own home.

Class replays are also available for purchase on the Dance NZ website and can be viewed as many times as you like for up to 24 hours. Replays are an excellent idea if you cannot commit to class dates or want to section out your Nia Dance workout.

To take advantage of this current gorgeous weather, for the next four weeks (including this week), Dance NZ is conducting its outdoor spring series. From the 9th of November through the 7th of December, this series will take place in person or you may join through Zoom and watch the actual class perform right next to the gorgeous Waikato River.

If you’re a first-time Dance NZ member, there’s another special offer exclusively for you! For just $15, you may take the first three classes of your choosing. These lessons may be taken in person or online, allowing you to tailor the offer to your specific needs.
