Looking for a fitness workout specialised for beginners in Raglan? Maybe you’re seeking easy, at-home classes for dance? Whether it’s fitness or dance you’re seeking, social workout, or home exercises, Nia With Belinda has a class perfect for a range of beginners!

Nia Dance is a form of movement art and fitness designed specifically to improve your health, well-being, and overall lifestyle. Comprised of different martial, healing, and dance arts, Nia Dance has 52 total moves that can be adjusted based on your skill level!

Dance NZ, based in Hamilton and Raglan, aims to share her techniques and style with you to provide empowerment, fun, and a unique form of exercise. Best of all, you can decide if you want to participate in-person in a social setting, or from the comfort of your own home!

Experienced Teacher

Your teacher, Belinda Goodwin, has received her white, blue, and green belt specialising in the Nia Technique, and is currently training for her brown belt. She supplies encouragement for beginner dancers to “choose to adapt and modify the movement, dancing in “your Body’s way”

This means that, as a beginner, you don’t need to feel pressured to follow every move perfectly. Allow yourself to feel each dance move flow through you and be expressed in your own, personal style.

In each Nia Dance class, Belinda applies different levels of difficulties to each move and routine, which allows beginners to feel comfortable working at a level that is perfect for them, whether that’s easy and simplistic moves or something more challenging to build skill.
